The Ministry of Justice announced the establishment of an Administrative Court in Amasya and the determination of its judicial jurisdiction in today’s Official Gazette.
According to the decision, taking into account the positive opinions of the Ministries of Interior, Treasury, Finance, and Trade, the establishment of the Amasya Administrative Court and the determination of its jurisdiction within the territorial boundaries of the province of Amasya were decided in accordance with the first and second paragraphs of Article 2 of Law No. 2576 on the Establishment and Duties of Regional Administrative Courts, Administrative Courts, and Tax Courts.

MINISTER TUNÇ: A BLESSING FOR OUR COUNTRY
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made statements regarding the establishment of an administrative court in Amasya. Tunç emphasized that they are continuing their efforts to conclude trials promptly, ensure the swift delivery of justice, and promote specialization in the courts, stating, “We have established an administrative court in Amasya based on the geographical structure and workload of our regions.”
Reminding that the decision regarding the establishment of the new court was published in the Official Gazette, Tunç noted that this decision has increased the number of provinces with administrative courts to 71.
In his remarks, Tunç underscored that efforts will persist to make justice services more effective and accessible, saying, “I wish our newly established court to be beneficial for our judiciary, country, and nation.”
