He also supported Trump’s approach to ending wars, appreciated efforts for negotiations with Iran, and ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Erdoğan pointed out the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, emphasized the need for continuous humanitarian aid and ending the tragic situation. He also expressed Turkey’s readiness to collaborate and provide all kinds of support for establishing a ceasefire and achieving lasting peace. Erdoğan highlighted Turkey’s efforts to preserve Syria’s territorial integrity and ensure stability, stating that the US’s work towards easing sanctions on Syria would contribute to a stable Syria, supporting both regional and global peace. Erdoğan even invited Trump to Turkey during the call.
