Turkey’s Global Peace Efforts: Russia Accepts Negotiation Offer, Ukraine Declines
Turkey continues its relentless efforts to contribute to global and regional peace. According to information obtained from security sources by SABAH, Turkey managed to bring the delegations of both countries to the same table at the very beginning of the war and recently made a new initiative for Russia-Ukraine peace. While Russia accepted Turkey’s new negotiation offer, Ukraine declined.

Putin stated, “Are we ready to negotiate with them? We have never rejected that. But not based on temporary requests, but based on the agreements reached and actually signed in Istanbul. We agreed on everything, of course, there were some details that needed to be finalized, but the approval given is still valid.”
