Turkey and Libya Delegations Meet in Ankara for Talks on Cooperation and Partnership
The Ministry of National Defense reported that a meeting was held in Ankara on November 28 between the Libyan delegation and Turkey within the framework of the ‘5+5 Joint Military Commission’ at the invitation of Turkey. It was conveyed that additional steps that could be taken for the peace, stability, and security of Libya were discussed during the meeting.
The statement made by the Ministry of National Defense emphasized the historical friendship between Turkey and Libya, underlining the importance of contributing to the formation of a Libya that is united, peaceful, and stable. The satisfaction of our Libyan counterparts in hosting the 5+5 Joint Military Commission in Turkey has been confirmed,” the statement read.
