Deputy Minister of Health Özçevik’s Statement on Health Issues

“Overall, we have transferred 30 of our injured individuals. Five of them have been discharged. Two of the injured individuals were transferred to Istanbul for better treatment conditions and due to hospital congestion. The condition of the patients transferred to Istanbul was critical. Most of our patients have suffered burn injuries. The other three patients are being treated at Kocaeli City Hospital. One of our injured individuals is a 12-year-old child who was at the workplace with his father and got injured during the incident. Our case transferred to Istanbul will most likely undergo surgery,” Özçevik stated.
