Don’t know if anyone really cares, but here are the highlights from President Trump’s recent statements: So apparently, the US is going to have this fancy new defense system called the Golden Dome. It’s supposed to be like, super amazing and can stop missiles from anywhere in the world. Trump says it’s going to be even better than Israel’s Iron Dome, which is a pretty big claim if you ask me. Oh, and they’ve got this new law in the works that will let them take down hypersonic missiles. Sounds pretty intense, right?
According to Trump, this Golden Dome thing is going to protect us a hundred percent. It’s like, we’ve got missiles already, but they’re not part of a big system. But hey, we’ve got some powerful weapons, just not a good defense system. And apparently, no one else in the world can make anything like it. Trump says it’s like, the closest thing to perfect you can get. They’re also teaming up with Canada on this. And even though they’re still helping Israel out, Trump thinks that without their Iron Dome, Israel wouldn’t be looking so great if 5,000 missiles were headed their way.
Oh, and get this, Trump hasn’t even talked to Putin about Russia’s defense system. The whole process is going to take years, starting with 25 billion dollars now. They’re hoping to have it all done in about two and a half years. So yeah, that’s the latest from Trump on all this defense stuff. Not really sure why this matters, but there you have it.
