President Erdogan’s Strong Stand Against Terrorism: Ensuring a Safe Environment for Turkey

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered important messages following the Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex. Emphasizing determination in the fight against terrorism, President Erdogan stated that Turkey will establish an environment free from terrorism. He stated, “There is no place for terrorism in Turkey’s future, just as there is no place for terrorism-supported politics. We will not take a step back.” Erdogan also addressed the appointment of trustees to four municipalities, stating, “We will never allow the halal funds allocated from the taxes paid by the people to be used by the immoral individuals of the separatist terrorist organization. The terrorist organization cannot establish an extortion mechanism.”

Reflecting on the 86th anniversary of the death of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Commander-in-Chief of the National Struggle and the founder of the Republic, Erdogan expressed gratitude towards the heroic martyrs and veterans who have fought for the homeland for a thousand years. He emphasized the importance of honoring the ancestors who have struggled to keep these lands as our homeland for centuries.

Erdogan highlighted Turkey’s progress in various aspects, including its growing economy, increasing reputation, strengthening military and defense capabilities, and its principled foreign policy guided by history and ancient values. He emphasized that Turkey shines like a star as a source of security in the region, following the principles of its history and values. Erdogan stated, “We see that Turkey has raised the expectations not only among the people but also in our hearts of the hearts of our spiritual geography with the Century of Turkey vision. With the help and permission of Allah, we will not disappoint the hopes for our country and our people.”

Addressing the achievements of the past 22 years under their government, Erdogan noted the numerous projects, facilities, services, investments, and accomplishments that have been realized for Turkey. He emphasized the transition to the Presidential Government System, which has institutionalized stability in governance and made it permanent. Erdogan expressed pride in the fact that Turkey has set records and achieved golden accomplishments in all areas during their government from 2002 to 2024.

Erdogan spoke about the importance of continuing to serve Turkey and the Turkish people, highlighting the government’s commitment to upholding the trust of the people and continuing to serve the country as long as the people approve. He expressed gratitude to all those who have served in the AK Party governments from November 3, 2002, and contributed to the advancement of the country.

Touching upon the recent events in domestic and international affairs, Erdogan mentioned the celebrations held across 81 provinces and in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to mark the 101st anniversary of the Republic. He visited the facilities of TUSAŞ in Kahramankazan and conveyed his best wishes to the employees following a terrorist attack. Erdogan also mentioned the delivery of the first GÖKBEY helicopter to the Gendarmerie General Command and announced that two more GÖKBEY helicopters would be delivered by the end of the year.

During the AK Party Group Meeting, Erdogan shared their stance and ideas on current issues with the public. He emphasized that the roadmap of the upcoming political period should be based on the framework outlined in their group speech. Erdogan expressed the desire to turn the 101st anniversary of our Republic into a symbol of great unity for all 85 million citizens. He stressed the importance of establishing and consolidating a prosperous, peaceful, and secure climate free from terrorism throughout the country.

Erdogan reiterated Turkey’s commitment to dismantling the bloody and treacherous death trap orchestrated by the terror barons in Kandil. He stated, “Our struggle is not limited to those who shoot at our soldiers, police, security guards, and civilian citizens. Our real struggle is with those who send them to attack us, with those who have plagued this nation with terrorism for 40 years.”

As the borders in the region are being redrawn with blood, bombs, and political assassinations attempts, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey will not continue with the outdated methods but will take bold steps to turn the tide in its favor. He declared Turkey’s determination to eradicate the terrorist organization’s influence on the country with all available means and resources. Erdogan emphasized the unwavering commitment of both the government and the ruling party, as well as the People’s Alliance, in this regard.

Erdogan condemned the practice of using violence in politics and stated that democracy and violence, civil politics and terrorism cannot coexist. He emphasized the need to reject violence and build thick walls against terrorism to uphold democracy. Erdogan criticized the manipulation of civil politics by those who support the terrorist organization and stated that such actions will not be tolerated in Turkey.
