In a show of solidarity and commitment to community development, Youth and Sports Minister Osman Askin Bak embarked on a series of engagements during his visit to Kirklareli. The minister’s itinerary included a visit to the Governor of Kirklareli, Uğur Turan, followed by a meeting with party members at the AK Party Kirklareli Provincial Presidency. Transitioning from the city center program to Lüleburgaz district, Bak attended an iftar program organized by the “Biz Bize Yeteriz” Association in the Altıyol Neighborhood, predominantly inhabited by Roma citizens.

Addressing the attendees, Minister Bak shared a personal anecdote, reminiscing about his upbringing in Kasımpaşa. “I also grew up in the Kotra Neighborhood in Kasımpaşa. My classmates, dear friends, and I had wonderful times together. Whether in Hacıhüsrev, Kotra, or this neighborhood, we love you all dearly,” expressed Bak in a heartfelt tone. He conveyed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s warm regards, emphasizing the enduring bond between the government and the people. Let’s build a sports facility here, let’s build a field, let our children play, enjoy football, and have fun,” articulated Bak, underscoring the importance of fostering a healthy and active community. Celebrating the spirit of Ramadan and extending well-wishes for the upcoming Eid, Bak expressed pride in sharing the street with the residents during the public iftar event. “We are a strong Turkey together, comprised of its people, Roma, Laz, Circassian, and all. We will not stop, we will continue on the path. I wish you all a blessed iftar.
