Yakup Paksoy, who retired from the Kastamonu Regional Directorate of Forestry in 2024 after serving as the Head of Forest Management and Planning for over 7 years, and having various roles in the General Directorate of Forestry for more than 40 years, passed away on September 10, 2024 due to a heart attack.

After the ceremony held in front of the Kastamonu Regional Directorate of Forestry with the participation of all organization members, Yakup Paksoy was bid farewell to his hometown, Kahramanmaraş, accompanied by prayers.
