### How Will the Weather Be Today?

According to the latest forecasts by the Meteorology General Directorate: The northern and inland regions of our country, as well as the inner and eastern regions of the Mediterranean, are expected to be partly cloudy to overcast, (except for Bilecik and Balıkesir) with showers and thunderstorms expected in Marmara, the Taurus Mountains section of the Mediterranean, the Iskenderun Gulf region, the southeastern part of Central Anatolia and the surroundings of Çankırı, Eastern Black Sea and the regions of Düzce, Bolu, and Ordu, as well as the northern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia. It is predicted that other areas will have a few clouds. The rainfall is expected to be locally strong on the coasts of the Eastern Black Sea and the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, with Artvin and Rize areas experiencing very strong rainfall at times.

**STRONG RAINFALL WARNING:** Due to the expected strong rainfall on the coasts of the Eastern Black Sea and the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, with very strong rainfall expected in the regions of Rize and Artvin, precautions should be taken against possible adverse conditions (sudden floods, flash floods, landslides, lightning, local hailstorms, and strong winds during rainfall).
