The town of Yunusemre in Manisa is getting ready to welcome motocross excitement. The Yunusemre Municipality has started work on building a motocross track in the Osmancalı neighborhood. The municipality announced that they have begun efforts to create one of Turkey’s best motocross tracks.
The track, which will cover 40,000 square meters of the municipality’s 356,000 square meter land in Osmancalı, will be called the Manisa Motocross Park. This 1,500-meter-long track will be able to host various motocross activities and races from all disciplines. A professional track is being constructed with jump ramps, corner walls, a starting straight, paddock area, spectator area, and resting areas for the riders.
Yunusemre Mayor Semih Balaban stated that they aim to make Yunusemre a city of sports and arts. He expressed, “We have started work on building one of Turkey’s best motocross tracks on a 40,000 square meter area of our municipality’s land in Osmancalı neighborhood. Our Manisa Motocross Park will be 1,500 meters long. The project includes jump ramps, corner walls, starting straight, paddock area, spectator area, and resting areas for the riders, as well as water and electricity infrastructure. We thank everyone involved for their efforts.”
