As one of the vital water sources in Edirne, the flow of Tunca River has been steadily decreasing since 2021, reaching a rate of 7 cubic meters per second. From 2005 to 2018, Tunca River experienced severe flooding due to a moist period, followed by a shift to a dry period, leading to the current decrease in water levels.
